Jen and celebrities...
After reading several stories regarding Jennifer Aniston, you really become aware of how hard it is to be in the celebrity business. I know it's difficult hours and the work is stressful, but the outcomes are usually worth the work. It's just fascinating though, to read these articles that record every little thing a celebrity does. We hear about Jen laying in the sun. Jen's getting a haircut. Jen went grocery shopping today! Look, Jen has a new man (everyday)! It's so crazy! No wonder many celebrities seek help in remote retreats. They media eye is always focused on them and it never tires. You must constantly be on your game as a celebrity because you never know who's watching. That's extremely stressful and I am sympathetic towards these individuals. Unfortunately, they chose a profession that requires attention all day, everyday. I wonder if when they start out with big dreams, they realize just how crazy it will be if they do make it big.

I agree that celebrities lives can be difficult. The point you bring up is interesting- do celebrities really understand what they're going to be put through once they've achieved celebrity status and get tons of attention?
It is obvious to most of Americans what the celebrity culture entails- so why do people want to be famous so badly if the attention is often too much to bear? I wonder if for some its the money, for others it may be the attention, and probably for a select few, its their passion. Some people were born with incredible talent of some form and strive their whole lives to use the talent and share it with the public. But in today's culture, when all we hear about is celebrities cracking under pressure- teenage pregnancy, entering rehab, overdosing on drugs, marriage and divorce and remarriage-- do we really want these types of lives??
